What's the deal with Netphone (VOIP)?
Netphone is included with all of our Naked DSL plans. Netphone uses VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology which lets you make and receive phone calls through your broadband connection. It works just like a normal phone, except you save money with lower call rates and included features. To use Netphone, just connect a handset to your VoIP-enabled modem (to make things easy, all of our modems are compatible with VoIP).

An active phone lineAn active phone landline so your broadband hardware can connect to the internet. Home Phone line rental is included with all of our BTBN5 plans. If you do not have an active phone landline, then BRISKTEL can arrange for one to be connected. Connection costs apply - please refer to our Home Phone terms, fees and guarantees. An active phone line is not required for the installation of a Naked DSL service. |

Broadband modemThis is the box that connects you to the internet, via your phone line. We recommend our $59.95 WiFi modem ($10 delivery fee) because it's easy to set up and works with Fetch and Netphone. |

A VoIP phone handset for NetphoneTo use your included Netphone VoIP service, all you'll need is a standard phone to plug into your VoIP-enabled broadband modem. If you don't have a VoIP enabled modem, you'll just need a VoIP adapter (ATA) to connect between your handset and modem. |

Line filterThis little gadget plugs into your wall to keep your phone and modem signals separate so the internet doesn't drop out when you make phone calls. We'll send you one of these with any modem you purchase from us with a DSL service. |

Withdrawal Fees
Withdrawing an order that you have placed with us will attract a withdrawal fee of $60. This is to cover our costs in preparing to supply the service to you.
If you have selected to purchase a modem from us, the hardware fee paid will be credited back to your account once the modem is returned to us in it's original condition.

- All BRISKTEL BTBN5 plans are offered on a no lock-in contract.
- There is a $0 standard setup fee for BTBN5; and applies to all plans unless otherwise specified.
- You may choose to use your own modem, or to purchase a new WiFi modem for $59.95. A $10 delivery fee applies.
- You'll need an active phone service for your broadband connection. Home Phone line rental comes included in your monthly plan price.
- Both uploads and downloads count towards your monthly quota.
- If you have a monthly data quota and you exceed it, your download and upload speeds are shaped to 256/256 kbps for the remainder of your billing month
- Our BTBN5 Broadband plans give you BTBN5 speeds, which means you'll get broadband access as fast as your connection can handle subject to environmental factors like physical line quality, weather conditions, your broadband hardware and the distance from your home to your telephone exchange.
- You may switch between our broadband plans at any time.
- We do not offer priority assistance, nor support for medi-alert services and monitored alarm systems. Priority assistance is offered by Telstra for people who may be reliant on a telephone service because of a serious medical condition. If you have a medi-alert or priority assistance service or believe that you are eligible, please consider this before proceeding with your order.
- Home Phone and Call Packs are subject to our Acceptable Use Policy
- If you are connecting a new line please note that we are unable to confirm DSL eligibility until your new phone service is connected. In the event that your chosen broadband service is not available then we will contact you to discuss your options. Any costs such as phone line connection fees, line rental and usage charges will still apply for the duration of the newly connected phone service.
- All BRISKTEL Naked DSL plans are offered on a no lock-in contract.

- This service is provided on the basis that you waive your Customer Service Guarantee (CSG) in relation to the Netphone. You do not have to agree to the waiver, but if you do not agree, we have the right to decline to supply the service.
